GapQuest: Gap Year Experience Admissions Process

GapQuest: Gap Year Experience has a rolling admissions process. We know that life can be unpredictable and doesn't always work on traditional time schedules! Applications are always open and we'd love to talk with you about designing a gap experience that is tailored to your unique situation.
Step One:
Eligibility Criteria-
- High school or homeschool graduate
- Age 18-20
- Previous work or volunteer experience
- Licensed driver with reliable transportation (preferred)
- Ready for an adventure
*Please note that GapQuest is not a therapeutic program and requires a high level of independence
Step Three:
Interview Process-
- Melanie, your GapQuest Guide, will contact you by email or text
- Schedule an interview with the GapQuest team
- Your 1-hour interview will have 2 components:
- An individual, in-person interview with the GapQuest team - 20 minutes
- A meeting with you and your family to discuss the program expectations, financial commitments, and to answer any questions - 40 minutes
GapQuest Program Fee - $500
GapQuest Fee Covers:
- 10 months of structured guidance & mentoring with a licensed educator
- Weekly "challenges" to gain skills, maturity, and confidence
- Co-op job matching, placement, and coordination
- Monthly service learning projects
- One-on-one personal financial coaching
- One-on-one individualized career & education coaching
- Professional connections, resources, & a plan for what comes next after your Gap Year
